An investigation is underway into the death of a man from the Phoenix family who died in a house fire.
A spokesperson for private security company KZN VIP Protection said the incident occurred over the weekend.
“A man was trapped in the house which was on fire. Unfortunately, attempts to rescue the victim were in vain,” the spokesperson said.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unconfirmed at this point pending a police investigation.”
