The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities (CRL) will release its report on Mission Kwazizabantu in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday.
The CRL received complaints about the mission and saw testimonies from witnesses and church leadership.
Hearings on allegations of human rights abuses were held in one of the oldest missions on the continent after the publication exodusa seven-month investigation by News24, which revealed allegations of sexual abuse, physical and psychological abuse as well as financial crimes in KwaSizabantu.
