Jan Oberholzer, former COO of Eskom, is scheduled to leave the power utility at the end of July.
On Monday, Eskom said it had parted company with Oberholzer by mutual agreement.
“His last day with Eskom will be July 31, 2023. Mr. Oberholzer was on a fixed-term contract to provide support for the Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant’s long-term (LTO) and Kusile Power Plant projects,” she said.
The facility expressed its gratitude to Oberholzer for his dedicated service, expertise, and valuable contribution during his tenure.
We wish him well in his future endeavors.
Oberholzer reportedly retired at the end of April this year, but then signed a contract to stay at the facility to provide support for the Koeberg nuclear power plant and Kusile power plant projects.
