Netsuki is happy with the Chiefs vs. Yanga show

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefe Nitsky was delighted with his side’s new-look progression from the first half into the second in their 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat by Young Africans in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Saturday night.

New coach Netske sent six new signings into his starting line-up as Kennedy Musonda’s first-half stoppage time goal for the side known as Yanga separated the two teams in front of a crowd of 60,000 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

“I think it’s a period of preparation. One step at a time. I think it was a good 60 minutes from those boys and they did very well,” Netsky told Tanzania’s AzamTV afterwards.

“Apart from, perhaps, a few moments where we let them play through us. But to be honest, I’m happy in terms of our team’s performance.”
