Evelyne Wanjiru pregnant with baby no 2

Gospel singer Evelyn Wanjiru and her husband, Agunda Boenyi, are pregnant with their second child.

Her pregnancy is considered a testament to many because she is now a mother of two children after expecting a child after 10 years of marriage.

The news came after Kabi WaJesus shared a video of Evelyn Wanjiru leading worship at the church.

In the video, the singer is seen very much pregnant, by the looks of things, she may also be in her third trimester.

Evelyn has spoken in the past about how jealous she would feel when she saw her friends pregnant but couldn’t bring herself to bear it.

She also revealed how they almost lost their first pregnancy in 6 weeks.

This was after Wanjiru’s cervix had started to open early putting her unborn child at risk.

Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve, Mama Mshindi as she is known now shared,

“Once I had an event in the States, while on the plane my body felt great.

I craved pilaf, hated yellow and didn’t understand what was happening to me.

I arrived in the US and the vomiting was insane, and my host suggested I might be pregnant.”

Evelyn takes an audition and to her shock is what she expected.

After being on the “wait” list for years, her husband, Agonda Boene, couldn’t believe it when his wife told her she was heavy with a baby.

“At the time I wasn’t taking supplements because they were meant to be taken when someone is around their partner.

When we got pregnant we decided to keep it under wraps. There are testimonials that you never talked about before you matured.

He was suspicious of me and told me that I was delirious. But when I was returning from the US, I found him waiting for me at the airport.“
