Over the weekend, body parts of an unidentified man were discovered in Kaioli, Nairobi.
The dead bodies of the victim were found by the locals after they were put in a bag and left in a canal.
Police have not yet determined where the victim was killed, but assume he was killed elsewhere before being put to the scene.
Investigators said they discovered his injured head. However, the paws and legs were absent.
Currently, the police are searching for the missing torso.
There were no bloodstains in the canal, indicating that the man had been murdered somewhere and the body placed on the spot, leading the police to believe that the deceased had been killed a few days earlier before being dumped there.
Police later moved the unidentified bodies to the city morgue in anticipation of identification and an autopsy.
Police are currently working on identifying a body that was discovered floating in the Grogan area of the Nairobi River.
Police and eyewitnesses believe the victim may have been killed and thrown into the river before being washed downstream when the man’s body was found on Sunday evening.
The man’s name is unknown, but investigators are working to identify him and his killers, according to police.
